Two more journalists were killed, according to the Director of the Al Shifa Hospital, Muhammad Abu Salmiya, who confirmed that they were all killed in an “Israeli” airstrike on the journalists' tent in front of the building.
Just minutes before his Mohammed Qraiqea's murder, he had been live on air, describing the intense bombardment across Gaza: “We are now hearing a new explosion, apparently in the southern and eastern areas of Gaza City. Warplanes are striking different targets here. It seems like it will be a difficult and harsh night for Palestinians in Gaza City, while other areas are also hearing similar explosions targeting homes and even tents for displaced people. The situation, both on the ground and humanitarian-wise, is at its worst so far in all provinces of the Strip.”

Qraiqea's final words captured the urgency and danger facing civilians in Gaza before he was killed in what witnesses said was a direct strike on a press tent, which 'Israel' later confirmed.
Similarly, just five minutes before his murder, Sharif had shared on social media: “Relentless bombardment… for the past two hours, ‘Israeli’ aggression has intensified on Gaza City.”

The “Israeli” military confirmed Monday it killed prominent Gazan journalist Anas Al-Sharif, claiming he “posed as a journalist for Al Jazeera who served as the head of a terrorist cell” in Hamas.
The statement by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) further claims Al-Sharif was “responsible for advancing rocket attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops.”
