Jordan evacuates 83 citizens from Syria's Sweida

Jordan’s foreign ministry announced it has evacuated a new group of Jordanian citizens from the Sweida Governorate in Syria.

The evacuation, coordinated with the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and state agencies, brought 83 Jordanian citizens and their companions across the Nassib/Jaber border crossing into the country.

Ministry spokesperson Dr. Sufian Qudah said the citizens were transported via Syrian Red Crescent buses, continuing joint efforts with national institutions in Jordan.

Qudah reiterated his appreciation for the efforts of Syrian authorities, whose cooperation helped facilitate the evacuation process and ensured the citizens' swift return.
