Iran reveals “Israeli” female pilot identity in claimed major intelligence breakthrough
Iranian state media announced Saturday a purported major intelligence breakthrough, claiming to have uncovered profiles of “Israeli” Air Force pilots, commanders, and drone operators who participated in the recent June war with the Islamic Republic.
Official Iranian broadcast channels and news outlets, including Nournews, Press TV, and ISNA, specifically named Major Yael Ash, identified as the deputy commander of Squadron 119, known as the "Bat" Squadron, and her husband, Bar Prince.
The reports asserted that Iranian intelligence operatives now possess "full profiles" of these personnel, including their identities, places of residence, operational units, military bases, and "roles in other crimes".
They further claimed to have "satellite images revealing the exact locations" where the identified personnel lived. Major Ash was also noted as the paternal granddaughter of Major Shimon Ash, a pilot who went missing during the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
Iranian channels issued explicit warnings to the identified personnel, stating, "They're No Longer Safe," and that the revelation "makes the entire world unsafe for them".
The reports went on to claim that “sample revenge already taken,” featuring pictures of alleged retaliatory strikes against one of the personnel's residences in the city of Yavne, “Israel”, and asserting that some homes were hit by Iranian missile strikes.
Iran also alleged that “Israel” relocated personnel to places like schools to preemptively claim that the Islamic Republic had targeted "civilian" sites if those locations were struck.
Iran stated that what has been made public so far is only "one example" and that "The disclosures of such classified information will continue".
As of the latest reports, “Israel” has not issued a direct official response to these specific claims regarding Major Yael Ash and Bar Prince.
