A moderate earthquake has struck areas in northern and northwestern Syria, according to a Roya correspondent.
Residents in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo, specifically in the regions of Afrin, Azaz, Sarmada, Idlib, and Harem, reported feeling the tremor.
The Turkish seismic monitoring center AFAD reported that a 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck Hatay province in southern Turkey, near the Syrian border.
According to the correspondent, there were no immediate reports of human casualties or material damage in Syrian territory as a result of the tremor.
