The Syrian Interior Ministry on Sunday accused so-called "rebel gangs" in Sweida province of breaching the ceasefire agreement by launching attacks against security forces.

Meanwhile, state media reported that internal security forces regained control of the Tal Hadid checkpoint in the provincial countryside.

The ministry said these groups continue to drag Sweida into tension and chaos, driven by their leaders’ personal motives, using ceasefire violations to cover up their abuses.

Despite the violations, the ministry affirmed its commitment to protecting residents and securing aid convoys in Sweida.
