Palestinian activist Abood Battah shot while covering Gaza aid crisis

Palestinian activist and content creator Abdul Rahman Battah, known as “Abood”, was shot in the leg while documenting the humanitarian crisis facing Palestinians waiting for aid in western Gaza.

In a post on Instagram, Battah’s brother said he was shot in the thigh while filming in the area, where thousands continue to endure harsh conditions as they await limited humanitarian supplies, due to the "Israeli" blockade on the enclave. 

Battah was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

The incident occurred amid ongoing "Israeli" attacks across the Gaza Strip, as civilians face continued violence and worsening humanitarian conditions under near-total siege.
