Jordanian authorities are continuing legal proceedings against a number of organizations and companies linked to the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood group, a source told the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

The source said an information security company connected to the banned group failed to declare its beneficial owner, in violation of the law, and committed other offenses.

This prompted the General Controller of Companies to refer the company to the Public Prosecutor's Office.

In a separate action, the Department of Companies Control has requested that the State's Attorney-General forcibly liquidate Dar Al Sabeel for Press and Distribution company.

This request was made because the company's losses have reached double its capital. It also failed to disclose its beneficial owner, pay its full capital, and submit annual financial statements.

Additionally, an association in the Ain Al-Basha area decided to dissolve itself.

Authorities are continuing to track the operations and ownerships of other societies and companies suspected of being linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.
