Netanyahu falls ill with food poisoning

“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is suffering from gastroenteritis caused by eating spoiled food, his office said in a statement carried by Hebrew media.

The diagnosis came after he was examined at home by his doctor after feeling unwell Saturday night.

Netanyahu's condition is now stable, and is currently receiving medical treatment with intravenous fluids due to dehydration accompanying the illness, the statement added.

The “Israeli” premier will now rest at home for the next three days and manage his work affairs from there.
