Three killed in 'Israeli' drone strikes on south Lebanon Thursday
At least three people were killed and three others injured on Thursday in a series of 'Israeli' drone strikes across southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese authorities, marking a continued breach of the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah.
The latest attack occurred in the town of Qabrikha in Marjayoun district, where a drone strike reportedly fired two missiles at the outskirts of the town. The Lebanese Health Ministry confirmed that one person was killed and another wounded in the strike. No further details were provided regarding the target.
Earlier in the day, two other 'Israeli' drone strikes targeted a vehicle in the Nabatieh district and the coastal town of Naqoura in the Tyre district, killing two people and injuring two more.
The 'Israeli' military claimed responsibility for both strikes, saying they had targeted Hezbollah operatives, though the group has not commented.
The series of attacks bring Thursday’s toll from 'Israeli' airstrikes in Lebanon to three dead and three wounded. Lebanese officials and media outlets have condemned the continued 'Israeli' violations of the ceasefire agreement.
As of 19:30 GMT, the Israeli army had not issued a statement about the strike on Qabrikha.
