Syrian Presidency orders strict measures to prevent abuses, uphold rule of law
The Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic issued a statement emphasizing the state’s commitment to safeguarding citizens’ rights, preventing bloodshed, and ensuring the rule of law across the country, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
The presidency stressed that all public and private institutions, both civil and military, must strictly refrain from any form of violation or abuse under any circumstances.
“All entities, regardless of their nature, must prevent any form of transgression or violation under any pretext,” the statement read.
The directive comes amid ongoing security tensions in parts of the country, with the government seeking to restore full institutional control and reinforce public trust in state mechanisms.
The presidency further ordered regulatory and executive authorities to take immediate legal action against any individual proven to have committed violations, regardless of their rank or position.
