Qassam Brigades claim direct hit on 'Israeli' armored vehicle in Khan Younis

The Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced on Monday that its fighters successfully targeted an 'Israeli' armored personnel carrier with a guided anti-armor shell in the northern area of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

In a press release, the group said it fired a "Yasin 105" shell at a Namer-type 'Israeli' military vehicle near the intersection of “Street 5” and the western Satar neighborhood. The vehicle reportedly had at least one 'Israeli' soldier on board at the time of the strike.

Following the attack, the brigades reported that their fighters observed an 'Israeli' military helicopter arriving at the scene, apparently to evacuate casualties.
