“Trump is Netanyahu’s puppet”: Elmo's X account hacked in shocking political, anti-Semitic tirade

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of Elmo, the beloved "Sesame Street" character, was compromised by an unknown hacker.

The breach led to the dissemination of offensive, politically charged, and anti-Semitic remarks.

The malicious posts included antisemitic remarks, explicit demands for the release of alleged Jeffrey Epstein files, and comments targeting US President Donald Trump.

One tweet from the compromised account explicitly stated: "Elmo says ALL JEWS SHOULD D**. F**K JEWS. JEWS CONTROL THE WORLD AND NEED TO BE EX**********" .

Another message read: "Donald Trump is Netanyahu's puppet because he is in the Epstein files," and a further post demanded: "RELEASE THE FILES @realDonaldTrump CHILD F****R" .

Sesame Workshop, the organization behind "Sesame Street," swiftly confirmed the breach, stating, "Elmo’s X account was compromised today by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts. We are working to restore full control of the account".

The hacker's specific demand for "Epstein files" taps into a persistent discussion in the United States, despite federal agents, including the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), having "debunked the idea" that an "Epstein client list" exists.

This narrative has continued to circulate, with pro-Trump social media influencers and conservative media personalities referencing "The Epstein Files", most recently by Tucker Carlson.

Trump himself has publicly addressed the issue, defending Attorney General Pam Bondi's performance regarding the files .

Sesame Workshop later regained full control of Elmo's X account, removing all inappropriate content.
