Qassam Brigades launch large-scale raid on 'Israeli' forces
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced a series of attacks targeting 'Israeli' military vehicles in both southern and northern Gaza over recent days.
In a statement issued Wednesday, fighters returning from the front lines confirmed they had detonated a powerful improvised explosive device (IED) against a Merkava tank in Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, on July 4, 2025.

A day later, on July 5, another IED was used to target an 'Israeli' D9 military bulldozer on Sarari Street in Jabalia, located in the northern Gaza Strip.
Additionally, on Tuesday, the group said it fired an RPG at a military excavator with two 'Israeli' soldiers inside, also in Abasan Al-Kabira. Following the strike, fighters reported seeing an 'Israeli' military helicopter landing in the area, apparently for evacuation.
These developments come amid continued clashes in Gaza as fighting persists between Palestinian resistance factions and 'Israeli' forces.
