Abu Obaida vows more “Israeli” losses after massive north Gaza operation

Abu Obaida, spokesman for Hamas's armed wing, vowing to inflict further losses on "Israeli" forces in Gaza and warning against their continued presence in the territory.

The remarks come after a recent operation in which a roadside bomb was detonated by Hamas and resulted in the death of five “Israeli” soldiers and the injury of a dozen so far.

"The Beit Hanoun operation is an additional blow dealt by our valiant mujahideen to the prestige of the flimsy 'Israeli' occupation army and its most criminal units in a field the occupation thought safe after leaving no stone unturned,” Abu Obaida said.

He further warned of an escalating "war of attrition" against "Israeli" forces:

"The war of attrition that our fighters are waging with the enemy from the north of the Strip to its south will inflict additional losses on it every day. And even if it recently succeeded in miraculously saving its soldiers from hell; it may fail to do so later, leading to additional prisoners falling into our hands."

"The steadfastness of our people and the bravery of their courageous resistance fighters are solely what create the equations and define the features of the next stage. And the most foolish decision Netanyahu can make will be to keep his forces inside the Strip,” he concluded in a statement on his official Telegram channel.
