Aqsa Martyrs Brigades issue final warning to collaborators with 'traitor' Yasser Abu Shabab
In a sharply worded statement issued Sunday, the Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' Amoudi Brigade warned individuals it claims are working with controversial figure Yasser Abu Shabab, accusing them of betrayal under the pretense of “committees” and “false nationalism.”
“We have your names, your faces are known, and your movements are being tracked,” the brigades stated in a message that was widely circulated on local media platforms. The group framed the statement as a final warning to those allegedly aligned with Abu Shabab, a leader who recently admitted to coordinating with the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).

The group also accused a yet-unnamed figure, who had reportedly promised protection to the alleged collaborators, of betrayal. “He was the first to sell them out, handing over their names and files,” the statement read. “He uses you as fuel, then throws you away.”
While the tone of the message was threatening, the brigades also extended what they called an opportunity for redemption. “You still have a choice: to repent and return to the side of your people and the resistance, with courage,” the group stated.
They pledged that those who "sincerely repent" will be protected. “We will be their shield and support, and we will close the chapter of the past,” the statement said, clarifying that their battle is with the enemy, not with those who choose to return.

However, the brigades made it clear that continued collaboration will not be tolerated. “Whoever insists on betrayal will bear the consequences alone,” the statement warned. “Let it be known — the earth will reject them, and the resistance will show no mercy.”
The statement follows mounting tensions in Gaza after Abu Shabab, leader of the so-called Popular Forces, acknowledged in a radio interview that his group communicates with the IOF and operates freely in areas under 'Israeli' military control. His comments have drawn sharp condemnation from Hamas and several Palestinian factions.
