Gold prices in Jordan saw a slight increase on Thursday morning, reflecting ongoing volatility in global markets. The fluctuations in international rates have directly impacted local pricing, according to figures released by the Jordanian Jewelers Syndicate (JJS) on July 3, 2025.

According to local jewelers, the selling price of 24-carat gold reached JD 78 per gram, while the buying price stood at JD 75.6.

The most in-demand type, 21-carat gold, recorded a selling price of JD 68.2 per gram, with a buying price of JD 66.

18-carat gold rose to JD 60.8 per gram for selling and JD 56.3 for buying.

As for 14-carat gold, the selling price reached JD 46, and the buying price was JD 41.4.

Gold coins also reflected the price changes. The Rashadi gold lira was priced at JD 479 for selling and JD 461.3 for buying, while the English gold lira stood at JD 549 for selling and JD 527.2 for buying.

Traders expect further shifts in local prices in line with global market trends.
