US revokes visas for UK band Bob Vylan over anti-'Israel' chant at Glastonbury
The United States announced Monday that it is revoking the visas of British punk-rap duo Bob Vylan after a performance at the Glastonbury Festival, where one of the members led a chant calling for "death to the IDF."
“Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country,” said Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau in a statement posted on X.
The @StateDept has revoked the US visas for the members of the Bob Vylan band in light of their hateful tirade at Glastonbury, including leading the crowd in death chants. Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country.

Footage shows a member of Bob Vylan urging the crowd to chant “death, death to the IDF,” following earlier cries of “free, free Palestine.”
While the BBC included an on-screen warning during the broadcast, the network acknowledged on Monday that the measure may not have been sufficient given the nature of the content. The broadcaster is now facing criticism for airing the set without stronger editorial intervention.
