Iran says 935 killed in war with 'Israel', including 38 children and 132 women
A spokesperson for Iran’s judiciary announced that 935 Iranians have been killed in the ongoing war with 'Israel', including 38 children and 132 women.
The statement comes after a ceasefire was declared between the two parties, whose hostilities escalated dramatically earlier this month.
On June 13, 'Israel' launched a major military offensive against Iran, targeting nuclear and military sites and killing top Iranian figures and scientists. Iran retaliated, delivering major blows to 'Israel' before the United States joined the war, striking three key Iranian nuclear sites; Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, with a full payload of bombs, particularly on the underground Fordow facility.
Following the 12-day war, US President Donald Trump announced that a ceasefire had been reached between 'Israel' and Iran, ending nearly two weeks of intense fighting.
