“Israeli” army says seven soldiers killed in Gaza battles

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced Wednesday morning the death of seven soldiers during the ongoing Gaza battles.

One soldier’s name wasn’t released as his family wasn’t notified, the statement said.

The names of the six – allowed for publication – are as follows:

• Lieutenant Matan Shai Yashinovski, a Platoon Commander in the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion of the 188th Brigade – killed during combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Staff Sergeant Ronel Ben-Moshe, a soldier in the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion of the 188th Brigade – killed during combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Staff Sergeant Niv Radia, a soldier in the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion of the 188th Brigade – killed during combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Sergeant Ronen Shapiro, a soldier in the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion of the 188th Brigade – killed during combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Sergeant Shahar Manoav, a soldier in the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion of the 188th Brigade – killed during combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Sergeant Maayan Baruch Pearlstein, a soldier in the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion of the 188th Brigade – killed during combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
