What to expect from weather in Jordan this week

The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said that Monday’s weather conditions will be mild over the highlands and plains, relatively hot in the eastern desert (Badia), and hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Gulf of Aqaba. Low clouds are expected over the northern and central regions.

Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally becoming active, especially in desert areas.

Tuesday will see a slight rise in temperatures, with most areas experiencing mild weather, and hotter conditions in the desert and low-lying regions.

By Wednesday, another slight increase in temperatures is expected, bringing relatively hot conditions to most areas and hotter weather to the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will remain moderate, picking up at times across the desert.
