Weather in Jordan: Cooler temperatures to return next week
Jordan is expected to experience a gradual drop in temperatures on Sunday and Monday as cooler air masses flow in from the eastern Mediterranean basin, according to ArabiaWeather.
The weather will become moderately summer-like over the highlands and typical for this time of year in most other regions. Low clouds may appear intermittently, while areas such as the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and the eastern desert will remain hot — though less intense compared to previous days.
Temperatures in the capital, Amman, are forecast to range between 30°C and 33°C on both days, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba are expected to reach around 40°C.
Northwesterly winds are expected to pick up during the afternoon and evening hours, occasionally bringing strong gusts, particularly in highland and open areas. These winds may stir up dust and sand in desert regions.
At night, conditions will be generally pleasant across much of the Kingdom, turning cooler after midnight — especially over high elevations and the eastern plains. Low clouds may form over the north, making it ideal weather for outdoor gatherings.
