Seven-year-old girl killed in hit-and-run outside church in Madaba

A seven-year-old girl was killed Sunday in a hit-and-run incident near the Church of the Apostles in Madaba.

Eyewitnesses said the driver struck the child with force, hurling her several meters, then ran her over again without stopping to offer help. The driver fled the scene immediately after the incident.

The girl died on the spot due to severe injuries.

Security forces quickly identified and tracked the suspect, who was arrested shortly afterward and referred to the judiciary for legal action, according to Roya’s sources.
