"Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted," the army said in a statement.
The Yemen's Houthis said they fired a ballistic missile at Ben Gurion airport.
The group's military spokesperson Yahya Saree said three drones were also launched at “Israel”.
The Iran-backed group has repeatedly launched missiles and drones at “Israel” in what they say is support for the Palestinians against the “Israeli” aggression.
