Gold prices in Jordan Monday, May 19
Today, Monday, gold prices in Jordan rose by 40 piasters, according to the prices quoted by the Jordanian Jewelers Syndicate (JJS) on May 19, 2025.
The price of 21-carat gold — the most in-demand among Jordanians — reached JD 65.50 per gram for retail sales, while the buying price from customers stood at JD 63.50.
The price of 24-carat gold rose to JD 75.20 per gram for selling and JD 72.80 for buying. As for 18-carat gold, it was listed at JD 58.20 per gram for selling and JD 54.20 for buying.
Rashadi, English lira coins
In parallel, the selling price of the Rashadi gold lira reached JD 480.3, with a buying price of JD 461.3.
The English gold lira was priced at JD 548.2 for selling and JD 527.2 for buying.
These rates are based on a base gold pricing of JD 67.900 per gram.
