Doha talks discuss two-month truce in Gaza, release of 10 captives: Sources
Hebrew media reported Saturday that ongoing negotiations in Doha are focusing on a potential deal that includes a ceasefire lasting between six to eight weeks and the release of 10 living 'Israeli' captives held in Gaza.

According to 'Israel’s' public broadcaster KAN, which cited unnamed “informed sources,” the framework of the proposed deal between 'Israel' and Palestinian factions—chiefly Hamas—also includes a commitment by Hamas to provide within 10 days a full list of the captives, both living and deceased.
The report stated that discussions also included the potential release of between 200 and 250 Palestinian detainees held by 'Israel'.
However, this element of the deal reportedly remains a point of contention among the negotiating parties.
Till now no official statements had been issued by the mediators—Qatar, Egypt, and the United States—or by either of the primary parties, 'Israel' and Hamas.
The talks have been ongoing in the Qatari capital since Tuesday.
The proposed terms resemble a framework previously presented by US Middle East envoy Steve Wietchikoff, which involved a phased release of captives—half on the first day of the truce and the rest contingent on progress in negotiations to end the war.
That plan was rejected by 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the time, although Hamas stated it had not rejected the proposal.
Meanwhile, 'Israel's' Channel 12 reported Saturday that the 'Israeli' negotiating team is expected to remain in Doha for at least one more day.
