VIDEO: Trump receives UAE’s highest honor Order of Zayed from UAE President
US President Donald Trump was awarded the Order of Zayed, the United Arab Emirates’ highest civil decoration, during a ceremony at Qasr Al Watan, the Palace of the Nation, in Abu Dhabi.
The prestigious award, named after the UAE’s founding father and first president, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, was presented to Trump by his UAE counterpart, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The "Order of Zayed," awarded by decree of the UAE President, is designed as a necklace featuring a pendant engraved with the name "Zayed," the founder of the United Arab Emirates.
The medal is crafted from pure gold and adorned with precious stones. It includes a ring engraved with the UAE flag, facing another ring engraved with the country’s official emblem, along with 14 rings representing key historical landmarks of the UAE.
US President Donald Trump arrived in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, where Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and other senior officials welcomed him at the Presidential Airport.
