"Largest in history:" Trump, Emir of Qatar sign $200B Boeing jet agreement

Qatar Airways has finalized a major agreement to acquire a fleet of Boeing aircraft, a deal US President Donald Trump described as historic.

Speaking during his four-day visit to the Arabian Peninsula, Trump announced that Qatar Airways would be purchasing 160 jets from Boeing, calling it “the largest order of jets in the history of Boeing.”

Trump arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, on Wednesday as part of his Gulf tour aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and discussing key political, economic, and security issues. 

Trump departed the Saudi capital, Riyadh, earlier after attending the US-Gulf summit, continuing his regional tour focused on enhancing partnerships and coordinating on matters of mutual interest.
