At least 18 Palestinians, the majority of them women and children, were killed early Saturday in a series of “Israeli” airstrikes targeting homes and civilian sites across the southern Gaza Strip, according to local health authorities.

In Khan Younis refugee camp, at least 11 people were killed and several others wounded when an airstrike struck a residential home, causing extensive destruction.

Two additional fatalities were reported after a separate strike hit a home in central Khan Younis, while four more people were killed in another airstrike on a house in the Batn al-Samin area, south of the city.

In the eastern town of Bani Suheila, a woman was killed when an “Israeli” strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced individuals.

Separately, the decomposed body of a Palestinian was recovered from the shore of Rafah, in southern Gaza, amid ongoing “Israeli” attacks and a critical shortage of rescue and emergency response capabilities.
