The Houthi movement in Yemen announced on Monday retaliatory measures against US and 'Israeli' actions in a televised statement by Brigadier General Yahya Saree, a spokesperson for the movement.

In the statement, Saree accused the United States of committing two massacres in the past hours, one in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa and another targeting an African migrant detention center in the northern governorate of Saada.

The strikes resulted in dozens of casualties, including both martyrs and wounded individuals. Saree condemned these actions as part of what he described as the ongoing American-led aggression against Yemen.

In response, the Yemeni armed forces, under the command of the Houthis, launched a counteroffensive targeting the US aircraft carrier Truman and its accompanying warships.

According to Saree, the military engaged the US forces with a series of missile and drone attacks, which successfully forced the aircraft carrier to retreat from its previous position, moving toward the far northern Red Sea.

The Yemeni armed forces vowed to continue targeting and pursuing the US carrier and all hostile naval vessels in the Red and Arabian Seas until the aggression against Yemen is halted.

The Houthi spokesperson also highlighted the group's ongoing support for the Palestinian people, condemning 'Israeli' actions and pledging to assist Palestinian resistance forces. In a coordinated military operation, the Yemeni air force reportedly targeted a strategic 'Israeli' facility in the occupied city of Ashkelon using a "Ya'fa" drone.

Saree emphasized that the Houthis would continue their efforts to disrupt 'Israeli' maritime activities in both the Red and Arabian Seas. The statement also reaffirmed the group’s commitment to opposing American aggression and offering continued support to the Palestinian struggle, specifically in Gaza, which has been subjected to Israeli Occupation and ongoing airstrikes.

Saree also reiterated the Houthis' unwavering support for the Palestinian people in Gaza, declaring that they would continue their efforts until the blockade on Gaza is lifted and the 'Israeli' assault ceases.

The statement concluded with a call for unity and resistance, with the spokesperson stating, "Long live a free, proud, and independent Yemen, and victory for Yemen and all the free people of the Arab nation."
