The 'Israeli' military announced on Wednesday morning that it had likely intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, following air raid sirens in several parts of the country.

In a statement posted on Telegram, the military said sirens were activated in Haifa and other northern areas of 'Israel' to warn residents of the threat. The army confirmed that an interceptor missile was launched and "likely" succeeded in shooting down the incoming projectile.

'Israel's' emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, reported that its teams were treating several individuals who were injured while seeking shelter.

The missile’s origin has not been officially confirmed, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack. This comes amid rising regional tensions and previous missile attacks attributed to groups in Yemen and other areas aligned with Iran.
