Gold prices in Jordan hit all-time high amid global demand rises
Gold prices in Jordan have hit their highest levels ever, driven by rising global demand and international market surges.
According to the latest pricing from the Jordanian Jewelers Syndicate (JJS) on Monday, the price of 21-carat gold was listed at JOD 69.20 per gram for selling and JOD 67.20 for buying.
The price of 24-carat gold rose to JOD 78.80 per gram for selling and JOD 76.40 for buying.
For 18-carat gold, the selling price was JOD 61.70 per gram, while the buying price stood at JOD 57.20.
Meanwhile, 14-carat gold was priced at JOD 46.70 for selling and JOD 42.10 for buying.
As for gold coins, the English lira was selling for JOD 558.60 and buying at JOD 553.60. The Rashadi lira was priced at JOD 489.40 for selling and JOD 484.40 for buying.
The continued rise in gold prices reflects broader global trends, as investors turn to the precious metal amid economic uncertainty and market volatility.
