Gold hits $3,238 per ounce on Saturday as metals surge
Precious metal prices saw varying increases during Saturday’s trading sessions.
Gold continued its upward trend, reaching USD 3,238.19 per ounce, marking an increase of USD 49.75. This represents a 1.56 percent rise compared to the previous trading session, reflecting strong and sustained demand for the metal.
Silver also saw a significant increase, rising by 3.72 percent to reach USD 32.30 per ounce, an increase of USD 1.16. Copper prices followed suit, climbing 4.20 percent, and settling at USD 4.55775 per pound, a rise of USD 0.1835, according to the latest data at 8:58 PM.
Meanwhile, palladium saw a modest increase of 0.42 percent, reaching USD 907.25 per ounce. On the other hand, platinum experienced a slight decline of 0.62 percent, settling at USD 930.50 per ounce, a decrease of USD 5.85, according to data from 11:59 PM.
