Qassam ambushes 'Israeli' troops in first attack since ceasefire broke

Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, announced that its fighters detonated an explosive device targeting an 'Israeli' special forces unit east of Rafah, in the Abu al-Rous area of southern Gaza.

According to the group, the 'Israeli' unit had infiltrated the area when the pre-rigged house was detonated, causing multiple casualties among the soldiers, including both dead and wounded.

This marks the first ambush carried out by Qassam fighters since the resumption of 'Israel’s' military assault on Gaza on March 18, following the collapse of a temporary ceasefire.
