“Israeli” military raises level of alert

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raised Thursday its level of alert, following an assessment by its Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir.

Zamir “emphasized the importance of maintaining readiness so that Israeli civilians can celebrate [Passover Holiday] anywhere in the country,” according to Hebrew media.

The presence of combat troops will be increased in accordance with the procedure, as the IOF should be “prepared to defend military bases”.
