The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced on Friday that sirens were activated in Ashkelon, stating that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
According to Channel 12, two rockets were fired from northern Gaza toward Ashkelon, and the Iron Dome defense system successfully intercepted both projectiles in the skies above the city.
The IOF confirmed the successful interception and emergency services reported no injuries from the attack at this time.
