The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that employers comply with labor laws, particularly those guaranteeing the minimum wage. Investigations are underway to address the complaints and take legal action against violators.
In light of the growing number of complaints, the Ministry of Labor encouraged workers to continue using the platform to report wage violations. "Himaya" offers a simple process for filing grievances, tracking complaints, and receiving assistance.
The ministry also reminded employers of their legal duty to pay the minimum wage on time, warning that non-compliance could result in severe penalties.
The government remains dedicated to improving working conditions and safeguarding workers' rights across sectors, ensuring fair compensation and upholding labor laws.
