Safadi meets with Qatari Prime Minister ahead of key regional talks

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, met in Doha with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. The meeting took place ahead of high-level diplomatic talks involving key regional players and the US.

The discussions precede a broader ministerial meeting bringing together the foreign ministers of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt, alongside the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE and the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The officials are set to engage in talks with the US Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.
