"Traffic accidents spike due to pre-Iftar rush," says authorities

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) warned that excessive speed before Iftar is one of the leading causes of traffic accidents during the holy month of Ramadan.

It emphasized that many accidents occur due to rushing to reach home before Iftar, endangering the lives of drivers and pedestrians.

The PSD urged drivers to exercise caution and adhere to speed limits, especially in the hours before iftar, to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
