Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stormed the Al-Qibli Prayer Hall in Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, confiscating two loudspeakers after removing them, according to Roya’s correspondent.

Meanwhile, dozens of 'Israeli' settlers, under heavy police protection, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on the ninth day of Ramadan.

According to a statement from the Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem, the settlers entered through the Moroccan Gate, toured the courtyards, and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in the eastern part of the mosque.

IOF also imposed tight restrictions on Palestinian worshippers entering the mosque, increasing their military presence around Al-Aqsa and the Old City of Jerusalem, restricting access during Ramadan.

Calls continue for increased Palestinian presence at Aqsa Mosque throughout Ramadan to counter settler incursions and 'Israeli' restrictions. The Islamic Waqf emphasized the need for mass attendance and steadfastness at the site to thwart 'Israeli' attempts to alter its status.

Aqsa Mosque faces near-daily incursions by 'Israeli' settlers and police, except on Fridays and Saturdays, as part of ongoing efforts to impose new realities on the holy site.
