Hamas outlines conditions for extending Gaza ceasefire agreement

Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem outlined three conditions for the upcoming negotiations: a prisoner swap, full withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and a commitment to refrain from further aggression.

Qassem stressed that it is now up to "Israel" to demonstrate seriousness to the mediators to ensure the agreement continues.

He also clarified that Hamas has informed the mediators of its rejection to extend the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.

Furthermore, Qassem confirmed Hamas' willingness to engage in a captives swap with new terms during the second phase of the agreement.
