Child dies after falling from rooftop in north Jordan

A 3-year-old child died Thursday after falling from the roof of his family’s home in Northern Shouneh, north Jordan, according to medical officials cited by the Jordan News Agency (Petra).

Dr. Osama Abu Sinina, director of Muath bin Jabal Government Hospital, said the child was rushed to the hospital’s emergency department, where medical teams attempted to resuscitate him. However, he succumbed to his injuries.

The body has been transferred to the Forensic Medicine Center for Northern Jordan for further examination, Abu Sinina added.
