VIDEO: Three injured in Moscow shopping mall shooting

Three people were wounded in a shooting at a shopping mall in the Moscow region, Russian authorities confirmed on Sunday.

The incident occurred at the Krasny Kit (Red Whale) shopping center in Mytishchi following a dispute between a suspect and security personnel, according to a statement from the Interior Ministry.

During the confrontation, the individual fired a weapon, injuring three people. Emergency responders quickly evacuated visitors from the mall while law enforcement secured the scene.

Authorities have confirmed that the suspect has been apprehended, and an investigation is underway.
