Zelensky: We are ready to sign minerals agreement with US
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed on Saturday that he is still willing to sign a mineral agreement with the US, despite the tensions that have overshadowed the talks with US President Donald Trump.
In a post on X, Zelenskyy stated that Kyiv is ready to sign the agreement, considering it "the first step toward security guarantees."

This comes after the signing of the agreement was postponed following a heated exchange between Zelenskyy and Trump, raising questions about the future of cooperation between the two countries in this area.
Despite recent tensions, the Ukrainian president emphasized the importance of moving forward with the agreement, given its impact on national security and the strategic partnership between both sides.
The White House confirmed yesterday that Trump and Zelenskyy have not signed the mineral agreement following their verbal dispute at the White House.
It is worth noting that Zelenskyy left the White House early on Friday after an unprecedented argument with Trump in the Oval Office regarding the settlement of the conflict with Russia.
The press conference between the two presidents, which was scheduled to follow the signing of the agreement concerning the exploitation of Ukraine's mineral resources, was canceled.
