Hamas comments on Netanyahu’s decision to halt Gaza aid
Hamas issued a statement condemning Israeli Occupation's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to halt humanitarian aid to Gaza, calling it a “war crime” and an “attempt to evade negotiations.”
The statement accused Netanyahu of using aid as a tool for political blackmail, urging international mediators and the global community to pressure "Israel" to reverse its actions.
“Hamas rejects Netanyahu’s claims that the movement violated the ceasefire agreement, labeling them as baseless and misleading,” the statement read, blaming "Israel" for continued violations that resulted in over 100 Palestinian casualties.
Hamas also warned that Netanyahu’s refusal to honor the agreement threatens both the humanitarian situation in Gaza and the fate of "Israeli" captives. The group reaffirmed its commitment to all three phases of the agreement and called for immediate negotiations on the second phase.
The statement concluded by holding Netanyahu and his government fully responsible for any potential escalation, insisting that the only path to recovering "Israeli" captives is through adherence to the signed agreement.
