“Israel” army says killed Hamas commander in Lebanon

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said Monday it killed in a strike a Senior Hamas official known as Muhammad Shaheen in the area of Sidon in Lebanon.

Shaheen was the head of Hamas’ Operations Department in Lebanon – according to the statement.

The assassination came after he “recently planned terror attacks from Lebanon, funded by Iran, against Israel,” the statement added.

A Lebanese security source confirmed Shaheen’s death.

"Mohammed Shahine... a Hamas military unit commander", was killed "in the Israeli strike in Sidon", the anonymous security source said to Agence France-Presse (AFP).
