Gas heater asphyxiation claims lives of family in Jerash

A tragic incident occurred in Jerash Governorate, where a young man, his wife, and their two children died due to asphyxiation from a heater gas inside their home, according to family members.

Civil Defense teams and security forces rushed to the scene, where the deceased were evacuated to Jerash Government Hospital, and an investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the incident.

This incident follows a similar tragedy that occurred last week in the town of Naimeh in Irbid Governorate, where four members of a single family lost their lives due to inhaling gas emitted from a heater inside their home.

Relevant authorities continue to warn about the dangers of unsafe heating methods, emphasizing the need for proper ventilation and safety measures to avoid such painful incidents.
