Schools in Shobak to close Thursday due to weather

The Director of Education for Shobak, Mohammad Salama Al-Shuqayrat, in coordination with Shoubak District Governor Sami Al-Masarwa, has decided to suspend classes in the district’s schools on Thursday.

This comes to ensure student safety amid the prevailing weather conditions.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Ministry of Education has empowered regional education directors to make decisions on whether schools will remain open on Thursday.

The decision will be based on the weather developments in each specific area and in coordination with local governors.
