King Abdullah congratulates Syria's transitional president Ahmed al-Sharaa

King Abdullah II congratulated President Ahmed al-Sharaa on assuming the role of transitional president of the Syrian Arab Republic.

In a message sent on behalf of himself, the Jordanian people, and the government, the King extended his sincere wishes for the success of President al-Sharaa in leading Syria and serving its people.

He emphasized Jordan’s support for Syria's unity, security, and stability.

King Abdullah II also reaffirmed Jordan's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Syria and standing alongside the Syrian people in developing their country, while ensuring continued coordination on various issues to achieve common interests and reinforce Arab unity.
