Lebanese army regains control of 21 southern towns

A Roya correspondent reported on Tuesday that the Lebanese army entered around 21 southern towns, adding that 12 towns remain under Israeli Occupation.

The towns entered by the Lebanese army include Bani Haiyyan, Houla, Mais al-Jabal, Maroun El Ras, Aitaroun, Rmaych, Yaroun, Ramyeh, Zahajra, Yarine, Oum Touteh, Zalloutiyeh, Taybeh, Deir Siryan, Beit Lif, Hanine, Qantara, Aita Al-Shaab, Al-Qaouzah, Deir Mimas, and Boustane.

The correspondent clarified that the towns still under the control of Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) include Labbouneh, Blida, Mhaibib, Markaba, Kfarkela, Al-Aadaissah, Rab Thalathin, Tallouseh, El Hamames, Wazzani, Aabbasiyyeh, and Majidieh.
