The King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) revealed its 2024 achievements, announcing that 35,000 patients benefited from its medical services over the year. Among its milestones, the center conducted an advanced brain tumor procedure utilizing laser and robotic technologies.

In a statement to Roya, KHCC reported that it covered the treatment costs for 1,298 underprivileged patients through charity funds. The center also continued its commitment to treating cancer patients from Gaza.

On the scientific front, KHCC highlighted the participation of 272 Arab researchers from across the globe in cancer-related studies conducted by the center during the year.

KHCC also provided holistic care to over 9,000 patients through psychological support services and organized specialized programs for children, including a summer camp and a “Dreams Come True” initiative.

Additionally, the center launched local and regional awareness campaigns aimed at encouraging women across Jordan to undergo mammogram screenings.

The statement further noted that the number of subscribers in KHCC’s Takaful care insurance program surpassed 200,000, encompassing individuals and companies, as part of efforts to expand healthcare coverage under its insurance umbrella.
